2014 François Blanchard 'Flap-Flap Rouge' Cabernet Franc

This is a beautiful, beautiful wine. Each year François Blanchard  seperates the pressings from the free-run wine post fermentation and the Flap-Flap is the result.

This is a pulpy, medium bodied, beyond delicious cabernet. It has less time in barrel than the Contrebasse and the fruit is exceptionally good quality.

I really can't recommend this highly enough.

It's grown on silex soils, destemmed before fermention and bottled after 8 months. This is one of the most delicious cabernet franc based wines I've ever tasted.

Serve with red meat for a very good time.
